most people would say they became a momma when their child was born. for me that is not the case. i was born a momma. since i was quite young i knew i wanted to be a momma. middle school thru college i practiced being a momma by helping other mommas. by the time i got pregnant i pretty much had the general concept down. i worried about being pregnant and delivery but i thought once the baby came i was good. little did i know my knowledge of being a momma was very limited. sure i know how to take care of a child but being a momma is so much more.
when i got Amelia she knew very little of the world, when she got me i knew very little of the world of momma. now i am raising her to be a strong independent woman and she is raising me to be a mamma.
You are doing a great job so far. I think u started out way more knowledgeable than I was as a new mamma! You are teaching Nana things she did not know raising you!
